Programme:
Monday 16th – Practice Day
Tuesday 17th – Practice Day
Wednesday 18th – 50m Pistol, 1st Half 25m Rapid Fire Pistol
Thursday 19th – 2nd Half 25m Rapid Fire Pistol, 10m Men’s Air Pistol
Friday 20th – 10m Men’s Air Pistol, 10m Junior Men’s Air Pistol, 25m Pistol Junior, 25m Pistol Women’s
Saturday 21st – 25m Centre Fire Pistol, 25m Pistol Men’s, 10m Women’s Air Pistol, 10m Junior Women’s Air Pistol
Sunday 22nd – 25m Standard Pistol
Finals: Finals will be shot for all Olympic events. Check for notification on the day.
50m Pistol: 50m Pistol will be shot two targets side by side. Preparation and Sighting in 15 minutes, 1st & 2nd cards in 30 minutes, 3rd & 4th cards in 30 minutes, 5th & 6th cards in 30 minutes.
25m Matches: Will be scored on range after each 5 shot series.
10m Air Pistol: Will be using Electronic Targets System.
Junior Matches: 10m Junior Men’s Air, 10m Junior Women’s Air and 25m Pistol Junior. Juniors may enter both Open and Junior matches. They will only shoot once, with their one score being used to determine results in their selected match or matches.
Notified Start Times are the Match / Competition Start times not preparation times.
Equipment Control: Equipment control is recommended but optionable and will be available prior to shooting with random equipment checking during the event.
Coral Sea Pistol Championships: are open to competitors from the following countries: Fiji, Guam, New Caledonia, Norfolk Island, Papa New Guinea and Tahiti and NZ Juniors.
Coral Sea Pistol Championship Matches: will run concurrently with Pistol New Zealand matches.
Trophies: If you have trophies for this competition, please see that they are engraved and returned in time for presentation.
Lunches: A menu will be at the clubrooms. Please have your orders and money in by 11.30am.
Tea and Coffee: Is provided free of charge.
Presentation of medals will take place after each event is finished or/and at the dinner on Saturday night.
Saturday Dinner: There will be a prize giving dinner on Saturday night 21st March. Cost is $55 per head. Venue to be The Hamilton Pistol Club clubrooms.
All Entrants: Please Note It is a condition of participation in this event that:
If you are over 16 years of age, you are a holder of a current New Zealand Firearms License,
If you are under 16 years of age, you are accompanied by, and will participating under the supervision of a holder of a current New Zealand Firearms License.
In either case, either a standard or a visitor’s Firearms License is acceptable. At the registration for this event you (or your supervisor, if you are under 16 years of age) will be required to produce your Firearms License. If you do not do so, you will be unable to participate in the event.
